A late posting on a busy travel day. The travel time today
was short, but we had a lot to do!
We started off the day with a trip to the local donut shop.
At 9:30 am the shop sold out for the day, but we were able to each get one
remaining donut. They are truly to die for.
Our next mission was to pick up my bridesmaid dress by 10am.
It was ready and sewed perfectly. That was a huge relief.
It was sad to say good-bye to the Rockies. I really enjoyed
staying there. There is nothing like them. Although it was a little longer of a
route we took the Big Thompson Canyon to Route 25. It is so gorgeous, I wanted
to see it a second time.
This afternoon, I finally found my cowboy boots! That was a
true highlight of the day. After this post, I am going to polish and start
breaking them in.
After boot shopping we went to the grocery store to get
ready for Mom’s arrival. She will fly in tomorrow at noon.
