Garryown, MT to Rapid City, SD

The entire state of Montana is beautiful. Most states’
landscape changes significantly from the west to the east. That is not the case
for Montana. It is consistently rolling green hills, pasture, mountains, and
winding rivers.
Northeastern Wyoming is not mountainous at all, which I
found surprising. Rolling hills stretch for miles in either direction. (I know it is a little hard to tell with the stormy sky)
We arrived in South Dakota later this afternoon. Finally, it
is warm (70’s) and sunny. For the past week it has been cold and rainy. It’s
nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun.
Tomorrow we are off to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
