Day Forty Three
Klamath River, CA to Depoe Bay, OR
270 Miles
Today was our last day heading due north. Tomorrow we start
heading east. It was another gorgeous day along the Pacific Ocean. The majority
of the drive was alongside the ocean. The remainder was through the forest,
which reminded both of us of home.
It is amazing how many wildflowers there are in California
and Oregon. Every road you drive is lined with flowers.
Tonight we are staying right on the ocean. It will be nice
to fall asleep to the crashing waves. Off to Washington tomorrow.
