Day Forty Two
Rohnert Park, CA to Klamath River, CA
288 Miles
Today was a travel day up the coast of California and
through the Redwood National Park. The drive through the redwoods was
beautiful. Redwoods are tall and thin as compared to the great width of the Sequoias. Both are very impressive.
It was refreshing to see an ocean again! You don’t realize
how accustomed you become to having an ocean nearby. Our drive along the
Pacific was all through a tsunami warning area, which was quite different than home.
The next few days will be travel days to Montana. Tomorrow,
we are heading to Florence, Oregon and staying right on the beach. I am really
looking forward to that.
